LSP worked in partnership with Wychavon District Council to achieve the redevelopment of an “aged” area of Droitwich.

The project required extended negotiation with the principal stakeholders to design a scheme that involved demolition of an old community hall, construction of a new retail unit and car park, and extensive refurbishment of the adjacent Pentecostal Church.

The land released by the retail development has been used to facilitate an RSL led affordable housing scheme comprising of 11 much needed homes.  The extension of the existing church building provides improved facilities including group activity room and a crèche.

Vic Allison, Deputy Managing Director of Wychavon District Council said "LSP were able to design and manage a viable scheme that has raised the profile of the local area, and which the Council are really pleased with. Without doubt, their input and determination to find a solution to the regeneration of Blake Avenue has been crucial."
