LSP and Assura were appointed to deliver the Resource Centre following a competitive tender and forms part of the Blaenavon Community Campus, co-located on the same site as the Blaenavon Hertage VC Primary School and Blaenavon Active Living Centre.
The new development provides new accommodation for the Carregwen Surgery plus optometric services, community dentistry and a pharmacy, allowing for better integrated services for patients.
The Blaenavon Customer Centre provided by Torfaen County Borough Council and Gwent Police Info Point are also in the building which further supports the ethos of partnership working for the betterment of the local community.
