Barchester have commenced construction of their new 64 bed residential carehome, which will deliver nursing, residential and dementia care services, the facility is due to open in the Autumn 2010. Also, McCarthy & Stone have exchange contracts to develop 44nr retirement and assisted living apartments, construction is planned to commence later this year. Finally, LSP continue to make good progress with the procurement of a new state of the art health facility to reprovide the existing Hightrees Practice, which is no longer fit for purpose. Works are planned to commence on-site in Summer 2010 with the completed facility opening to patients in Spring 2011.
